〜 Therapy & Counselling 〜

The Counselling Services I offer

All sessions are available in person at the Worongary practice or online by secure video.

Couples & Marriage Counselling

Even the strongest relationships go through hard seasons.

Couples counselling is a calm, neutral space to feel heard by each other again. To untangle what’s gone wrong, rebuild trust, and find a way forward, together.

Session length: 60-90 minutes
Fee: $150 per session (under 16)

Adult Individual
Counselling

Sometimes life becomes too heavy to carry quietly.

Individual counselling offers a confidential, unhurried space to feel supported, think more clearly and find a gentle path forward, one that’s genuinely yours.

Session length: 60 minutes
Fee: $120 per session (under 16)

Children & Teens Counselling

Children often feel things long before they have words for them.

This is a calm, gentle space where young people can begin to make sense of what they’re carrying, at their own pace, without pressure. With particular experience supporting neurodivergent kids, I use age-appropriate, creative approaches that help them feel safe, seen and understood.

Session length: 60 minutes
Fee: $120 per session (under 16)

Family
Counselling

Even loving families can find themselves stuck in patterns that are hard to shift.

Family counselling makes space for each person to feel heard, and works gently toward more understanding, connection and calm at home. Especially helpful for families navigating the teen years, neurodivergence, blended-family dynamics or parenting challenges.

Session length: 60-90 minutes
Fee: $150 per session (under 16)

NDIS & Support Services

Specialist support for neurodivergent children and their families, grounded in more than a decade of experience across education and counselling.

This isn’t generic support work. It’s considered, relationship-based care from someone who genuinely understands how neurodivergent children thrive.

Not sure where to start? That’s completely okay.

Book a session and we’ll figure it out together. There’s no pressure to arrive with all the answers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Understanding the counselling journey is essential for making informed choices.

I draw primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). CBT focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviour, helping you understand and shift unhelpful patterns. ACT supports you to accept what you can’t control, while building a meaningful, values-led life around what you can.

That depends on your goals. Some clients come for a short series of sessions to work through something specific; others choose longer-term support for ongoing growth. We’ll check in regularly to make sure counselling is meeting your needs — you’re never locked in.

The first session is a relaxed conversation about what’s bringing you in, what you’d like counselling to help with, and how we’ll work together. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to.

Yes. Counselling is confidential, with limited exceptions, the main one being if there’s a serious risk of harm to yourself or someone else. I’ll talk this through clearly with you in your first session.

There’s no need to over-prepare. It can help to jot down a few things that are sitting heaviest, any questions you’d like to ask, and what you’d like to feel different by the end of our work together. Beyond that, simply turning up is enough.

Please get in touch as soon as you can and I’ll do my best to find an alternative time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session may incur a cancellation fee.

Yes. Online sessions are available via a secure video platform and provide the same level of care as in-person work. Online sessions suit clients outside the Gold Coast, clients with limited mobility, or anyone who simply prefers the comfort of their own space.
